Please join us in the Peeler Auditorium on Thursday, March 14th at 7:30 pm for a screening of "Ai Weiwei: Never Sorry," a documentary about contemporary Chinese artist Ai Weiwei. The film presents an intimate view of Ai Weiwei's life, political activism and artistic practice. You will find the film description and links to additional information below. This screening is in advance of major retrospective of Ai Weiwei's work at the Indianapolis Museum of Art that opens on April 5th. It is no small thing for us to have this exhibition in such close proximity, so please join us for the film and then visit the IMA if you can!

AI WEIWEI: NEVER SORRY is the inside story of a dissident for the digital age who inspires global audiences and blurs the boundaries of art and politics. First-time director Alison Klayman gained unprecedented access to Ai while working as a journalist in China. Her detailed portrait provides a nuanced exploration of contemporary China and one of its most compelling public figures.
